find a new one with a reliable agency. I heard some 'bad' agency fool the employer by introducing maids that had hk experience but pretend that they are new by using false identity.
Actually, I visited an agency recently (to collect some update data/advice). The lady tells me that she will never introduce any Philipine maid who used to work in HK to her customer, because of the tricky character from Philipine maid. She advises us to hire a brand new Philipine maid from oversea, who will be much more pure in mind/obey to boss.
For Indonisian maid, it is totally difference case. She advises we must hire who has working experience (no matter from HK or other countries). Otherwise, you will be always very angry with the Indonisian maid because of their stupid mind and low education.
Is her saying correct??? Does the lady's info make sense to you???
I totally agree with your agent, my first two maids are indonesian, their level of education is very low and no common sense eventhough 'Tak Shing'(bad agent) claimed that both have more than 2 years Singapore experience, I don't know whether I am bad luck in hiring maid or Tak Shing has fooled me with the maid's background, I ended up fire both maids because I have trouble communicating with them and I don't want myself angry everyday.
My present Fillipino maid (7 years experience in HK), although she has a better common sense, but I don't expect too much, they know when to work hard and when not to, doing things just on the surface but not thoroughly. Like to do things on their own way and don't want to follow your instruction, not polite, and black face all the time. But afterall, she has good record, not borrowing money from the bank, not coming home late on day off and does everything before leave home and coming back from day off. I can't ask for more, but I am going to change her this October since she is not the type to look after young children.
I am still thinking whether I should hire a Phillipino or Indonesian and definitely, I will not use TAK SHING this bad agent.
