There are so many irresponsible Yans being supported by the 勵X會 to sue their employers in very inethical/immoral way. As all Yans claim themselves to be Muslims, has 勵X會 ever tried to read what it actually is in the Yan's mind, or to study carefully each case individually before they offer their help to them. No offense to Muslims but it's a real truth that they give me the impression of a dXXXty mind (this is personal observation only and no discriintaion on any religion).
NO blame on 勵X會 cus Yans are also human and should be given support whenever needed. But I wonder if the 勵X會 while giving these Yans their support, does it carry out it's missionary task of educating these Yans about right attitude and value as a servant and their attitude towards other ppl in this world, as what is said in the bible.... .
Forgive me for saying these cus I'm personally very dissappointed about this association.
One more point. The association's approach to deal with maid's cases is very much of a question. How come it will entertains all maids who enters into it's office with any stories! WHy doesn't it try to approach teh empoyers concerned to understand more deeply into the story before it helps the maids to sue? If they had really done so it would have saved a lot of time and energy of those employers who are innocent, and it would have saved a lot of expenses of the Gov't (the Labour tirbunal costs, like the Judge's time costs, the officers, the rental of the Court for some other important and real cases, which, I believe, are tremondous costs ).
I believe that the role of the association is to get the maids' cases to settle, like discussing it with the employers first of all to assess if the maid is geniune or not (ie. to screen), before approaching the Labour Tribunal. But for now, all of these cases are that genuine employers don't know waht is going on but all of a sudden, receive a claim letter from the Labour Tribunal about a claim from the maids. That doesn't sound sensible talking about a civilised society in HK, where there should be adequate communication and effective procedures in any companies and associations nowadays. Just imagine, if we deal with our business partners/clients with our business or in our companies in the similar way, we would have been complained by the others a million times already....
With a commercial business, like agents, it is more likely that they don't need to be ethical as they have their money aim. That we have nothing to say. But with Christain Actixx, shouldn't it place more emphasis on the ethical issue/conscience instead of money!!
