Any parent have experience fly with11months baby to London? I'll bring my twins babies to UK in coming July any good idea & suggestion? like airline...
我三月時帶了bb(1.5 years)去英國, so far he can
(1)sleep on the flight, this is the most important thing,
(2) have you book the first row for you & baby, it is very very important, which airline you choose, i choose BA, it not very good service, and then before you go, you better ask them to have a baby seater that you will use on the plane, it is useful for you take a long trip, but you must need the airway to confirm with, because I experienced that they have not enough baby seater in HK airport, but better in UK airport, and
(3) you must make sure you bring enough milk, also count from airport to hotel or home, don't miss it
(4) bring one more clothes for baby and you, touchwood, they will vomit on the plan,
(5) Bring one cap to BB so that when they sleep, you can use it to cover her eye, because you know you have some people always switch on the light and make you and your baby can't sleep
BA is more children friendly than Cathay, and have more leg-room on the bulk seat.
Remember to tell them you have an infant with you so they can reserve the bulkseat for you and your baby, but you can't reserve a baby bassinet or a car seat, coz sometimes they might not have enough though so far I've been travelled back and forth for 6 times between UK and HK, I always had a carseat for my daughter.
Bring an extra set of clothes and enough milk. They only have very few brands of milk in the UK so it's better to bring more rather than just enough coz you never know.
During take off and landing, better to give your baby some water to drink or his/her pacifier since it reduce the discomfort of his/her ears.
You can always ask the crew member to get your hotwater or wash the bottle for you, I think there's one particular crew member will be in charge of passengers who have babies (it says on the BA website).

Thankyou so much, I already book the flight to UK on Mid Aug, That really hard to arrange the seats, you know special in the summer period, we ask BA, VS & CX finally, we bought CX tickets & they arrange 54D & 54E for us, there have a cot near the seat but I think it's not very comfortable & we have car seat too but if I carry with the baby I think my arm will broken very soon.
Other hand, I knew most parent will feed their baby some cough medicine, it will let the baby sleep well & calm, any parents have this experience?
