Thank you RichMPoorM & twingirls. I think I will start with white fish for the time being. Probably try Morrisons as some of my friends also said it's good.

One more point, we do buy our fish at Morrisons supermarket and their fish is the best among others.

Will probably go to Morrisons tomorrow to have a good look around.
I do miss all the good seafood in HK...my hubby is not a fish person so it is difficult to buy & cook just for myself. Now with the baby, I will cook & eat the same thing with him ~ so that we can have the same taste!
By the way, can I put ginger or any seasoning in the fish? If not, how to make the fish not smelling 'fishy'??

oic Sea Bream is also very tasty when you steam to eat. Not only your baby needs nutrients, you too.

I bought a sea bream at morrions': fresh, good price and they gutted the fish for me as well ~ so a lot less work when I cook it at home. Tastes nice and I like it. My boy likes the fish as well, he prefers to chew the fish alone than to have congee to go with it. I think next time I'll try lemon sole, the meat should be quite soft and easy to swallow. Thanks for the advice & good tips!!

I mean those fish with white flesh (I think Sea Bream, cod, etc) instead of red (such as tuna) or pink (salmon)...hehe
Thanks all. I think I will now stick with Morrison's for fish...bought lemon sole fillet from Asda the other day and it tasted not good! Luckily I didn't give it to my boy as he's got a bit of Eczema & I have to wait a bit before giving him new food to try.
