Hi All UK Mami,

I am thinking to send my 2 children to study in UK because the education system is more completeness and it also provides traditional education. I would like to gain your advice:
1) is it too young for them to study at primary school
2) any information about the primary school in UK
3) how much for the school fee

i may come over to UK & find a job so as to stay with them.

妳同兩個小朋友有無英國護照？？妳要諗吓住邊個埠？？妳諗住比佢地讀政府定私校？？當妳知道喺邊個埠住先可以問嗰間學校收唔收生同埋學費幾錢................

I've no idea at all. We have no 英國護照。My C6 tells me to apply 居英權。
Do you mind to tell me where do you live?
Is it London good?
What is the difference between 政府&私校?

Hi there,

We live in Bournemouth, south side of UK.

If you don't have UK Passport, it means you need to find a shop/company, it has a job for you to do, then the shop/company will applicate a work permit for you then you can work and live in UK. We have been London, but I don't know how about there. I think that public or private school isn't difference, cos you must pay the fee for your children.......

其實我唸香港有好多協會都會有英國學校既資料, 我唸好多香港人都送子女過來讀書

我地住 uk, 多數送子女去 local 的學校, 都無乜同其他區域比較.

如果唸住過來搵工, 我唸依家都唔太可能. 工作證好難申請的, 或者如果你都讀書既話, 可以做 part time. 一星期唔可以超過幾多個鐘咁囉 (唔記得 exactly)

居英權? 我都唔係好明. 其實係咪你本身已經有居英權, 不過無過來住呀?

Agree! Too many Eastern Europeans here willing to do work for a few quids an hour and they don't need 工作證 ~ bosses know what people are cheap and easy to hire...

i've quited my job in HK.
Therefore i can stay with the children if they study in UK.

我諗你應該咁開始:
1. 去英国領事館問下有乜visa(if any)可以比你入英國陪仔女讀書.因為普通特區護照落地簽證只可留6個月,其他條件嘅visa係要有工作(或有錢投資攪生意),有書讀or有近親攪團聚先有得申請.唔係話冇做野,可以黎陪住仔女就得.(領事館會話因為仔女可以讀boarding schools,唔放心就不如唔好比佢來UK讀lor...)
2. 去英國文化協會睇下D學校資料,嗰度有consultant可以比多D ideas/assistance你,但始終你要知道自已想停邊個埠,可以付担幾多學費,生活費,etc.
攪仔女來讀書唔難,攪埋你自已黎就痳煩好多...Good Luck!

If you are not UK residence, not sure can you apply for Public school?
but for private school, personal prefer to study in south of england. School fee could be from £2xxx or above.
If you want to apply for UK citizenship, there is a new point system. Better to check it out first. www.britishconsulate.org.hk
