I am going to UK next week and I want to know if I can bring "bird Nest" ,鹿茸, 花膠 into UK?? If not , can I buy these in UK?? Thanks...

花膠 is dried seafood, heavy penalty if caught by customs but there are always people who are willing to risk it...
I don't trust the qualities of the ones sold here and always ask my family to send me these things via the post. These are usually ok if send by post.

U mean u send them by normal postor speed post?? U know there is a column "description", when u send by post, what do u normal written down??
Also, do u know if I can buy 白蓮鬚 in UK?? Thanks

By airmail, takes about 1 week. Speedpost 3-5 days but 3 times more expensive. My family sends me other stuffs everytime so no space to declare everything...
There are Chinese medicine shops here but I've never used them. Frankly, I don't know how popular they are and I worry if the quality of the medicine is good/'fresh' enough. Demand for stuffs like birds' net, 花膠 are not big here, even if they sell it, there won't be as many choices available ~ so I get all of my supplies from HK.

我上次寄咗幾箱from HK to UK, 有高麗人參，鹿茸．．等等，其中有一箱，係電腦check到佢地拿去scan, 好彩都平安收到．

我上次寄咗幾箱from HK to UK, 有高麗人參，鹿茸．．等等，其中有一箱，係電腦check到佢地拿去scan, 好彩都平安收到． [/quote]

Heehee....我當然冇寫入面有什麼咁清楚, 如果唔係仲駛收既. 我只寫 "准山, 杞子(in English) & other Chinese products" 呀.
