I also 幫襯六福. If return within 1 year, can get 90% back. If upgrade the diamond (needs to be 30% more than the 1st one), within 3 years, can use 100% of your 1st purchase price to upgrade. You can also bargain for a better price.
Although diamonds in big shops are more expensive, but they offer this buy back and upgrade policy which I like.
For smaller pieces of jewelry, will buy from 樓上鋪 in T.S.T. or jewelry fair.
Sotheby's also offer pretty jewelry, some at budget prices, but procudure is quite troublesome, and the premium is high (15-20%). Have anyone tried buying from auction houses?
Yes ar, Tiffiany marked up a lot with same 4Cs compare to other shops, like Chow Tai xxx... actually i once heard a sales told a customer the diamond they are looking, only G color wor, i guess they have different grade in shop, not all diamonds are D color... i think the reason why they are more expensive besides the brand is their cutting is Excellent, and they will waste more diamond to cut out a round shape to make the diamond more brilliant!
