I am planning to buy a mini washing machine costs around HKD480 but it seems that it can only wash few clothes or should I let her use our washing machine

I let her use my washing machine but only put her own clothes in one cycle and cannot mix with our laundry. Also I told her to collect at least half a load to use the machine (use the "half load" mode). Usually she washes her clothes together with her bed sheet.

The mini washing machine doesn't look too useful. Also almost all the maids have a tendency to break anything you give to them. So better save the money and ask her to hand wash the very personal clothing. But anyway they will still use your washing machine when you are not home, whether or not she's allowed to do so. So why bother waste the money on buying her mini machine.
