is it within 7 days from the date when the salary is due. It is part of the employment ordinance. So if you employ your helper in the middle of the month, suppose her monthly salary will become due in the mid of next month. Then you should pay her within 7 days from mid of next month. That is the rule and it equally applies to overseas maid who receives salary on a monthly basis.
