My girls were the same when I feed them with rice cereal at 5 months. I asked my doctor and he advised that the theory now has changed. Doctors (including the gov't clinics, you my refer to their leaflets) now support giving babies solid food from their 6 months instead of 4 because they observe many problems when feeding babies too early.
Don't worry. You may stop a while and try again. I stopped giving my girls cereal at their 5 months then try again at their 6 months. I even try congee. They are now 7 months and eating well.

Yes, I was have a fast on internet these few days.
Mine is twins. They are different. The small one was OK when I fed her with rice cereal at 6 months but the elder one was having gas burn. I then tried different brand. The small was ok with Healthy Times but the elder one can only take Meiji. I gave them one spoon the first day, then 2 spoons the second day .... and slowly they can now eat up the whole bowl. At around 6.5 month, I let them try congee. They both like it and have no problem. I added potato, veg., pumpkin, apple, carrot .... one by one. Again one spoon at the first time, then two... If they are ok after trying for 3 days, you can give them more. Make sure you add new food one by one and better feed the baby in the morning for new food. Because if anything happen you can bring the baby to see doctor. Pay special attention to the skin. If there are rushs, you better stop feeding that food. That can be a sign of allegy.
My babies cannot take meat for the moment. Both of them vomit after trying fish and pork. I will try later.
Evey baby is different. No need to be worried if they are growing ok.
