If i go to USA, where can i buy the iphone? can i use it in HK?

At Apple shop, where do u go(town/city)? I know it costs US$199(tax not include-around7.5%) for 3G in US. But they also same as HK, need to sign a 2-years contract. I also know it should be cracked when used in HK(I heard the news is "a Mexican can crack(3G) it" previously). I'm not sure u can buy 2G in US, u can see apple's website whether they still have stock. If u have any new updates, pls advise.

my friend is in L.A. now and he said no stock in Apple shop, so dont know where can buy it.

u can ask yr friend check San Francisco shop. I want to buy iphone and use via wifi at home. I bought two 2G iphone to my sisters in Apr 2008 costs HK$3,200. I know no more 2G now.

I bought 2 ipone from San Francisco in Apr 2008(8GB-US$340 & 16GB-US$450 includes postage&tax). I think ebay sell at US$350 should be 8GB iphone. U must know how to crack it and download. Otherwise, telecom will charge u around HK$600.00 to crack it.

My sister crack it from her friend. I know it can be done by yourself and u can search from some website. Anyway, I don't know how to do it. If it is sell at US$350.00 for 8GB, I'll not buy it coz I want to have 16GB.
