Hi...I had a trip to Phuket on 12-17Jun04. Just had one day rain only. I stay at Allamanda Laguna Phuket. It's a most valueable hotel in Laguna for a suite room. It's sutiable for me due travel with my son who is 21 months. I like Laguna...It's had free shuttle and ferry cross 5 hotel. I went to Sheraton hotel to visited baby elephants. My son also ride them. I can offer you one Limo driver - Mr Hasun..Tel no. 07-2830167..He always stay at Allamanda hotel but if you stay at other places..He also can service you. He brought a new car just within one month. We took his service from hotel to airport on last day at THB450. He said if we hire his car and him one day just cost THB1500. If take his car from hotel to Patong just cost THB400. It's valueable. I ordered a Limo at hotel to Patong before cost me THB700 and take Tuk Tuk back cost me THB300 (bargain price). Hope above info can help you la...
My husband don’t want to take my 21 months daughter to Phuket on coming Mid July. For me, 50%, 50% la. I will stay at Sheraton Laguna. We both afraid she will create much much trouble and come up we will much much busy & hard to take care her. Especially for sleeping. We will bring her sister only (Age 5). Can you share me with the 21 months BB experience? I know many things need to bring for BB, right? By the way, I will rent a car myself.

Christy1999 : I just bring 1L of distilled water for my son only. Other days I born the water at the hotel due we tried at BKI before in Mar. He's ok...If you worry about that sugess you bring 3L water for baby drink only. In fact, Travel with baby must be hard and busy....But if you want to travel with them and enjoy the family life....Then you must handle and enjoy it so much!

My family will join tour to Phuket through "Sun Wah" on July 14 to July 18 (5 days) prices $3299/head for adult and $2799 for kid, will stay 4 nights on Hilton Hotel (5 stars). Anyone interested? My son is 4.5 yrs old now. Hope will have more children join and more fun for them.

Maybe I can give u some info,
1. Thai style taxi - tuktuk can take 4-6 persons,
but not too safety or u can check the mini van from hotel taxi-counter, of course there will be a little bit expensive via hotel service, by the way self driving in phuket is easy and convenience. My hb and I always driving by ourself, its have fun and enjoyable. u can stop whereever u want.
2. Khai (egg) island is good for kids. There will strong current and wind in August so not suitable go to pp island, its so danger.especially u go with kids.
3. At Laguna area, u can dinning on the beach, there have fews private (not hotel range) restaurant on the right beach side. Good food, good atmophere.
good price too. hey, u can ask for 10% discount when they bring u the bill, funny? They will happy to know that u come from HK and reach your will.
