since 2002(or 2001?), the HA(Hospital Authority) started the localised network system. i.e. they only accept their patient from their district (but no address proof is required!). You should check which hospitals you can register.
I had two kid born on 2000 & 2003, both from PYNE (Chai Wan) execellent services and comprehesive medical check package. You can consider this if you are not living too far from it.
I also living in TM district, my husbund does not trust this hospital (without any reasoning) and hence I provided the address from my friend, who is living in siu sai wan, to register in PYNEb but it spend me much longer time on travelling.
anyhow, I believe each hospital does had both praised or complained by their patients. My sister in-law had a bad experience in 廣華, which her friend recommended this very much. I would suggest you to visit TM hospital first. If it does not give you any bad impression, or uncomfortable feeling, then try to talk to the staffs there, then you may able to see if this can give you peace in mind.
