I would like to ask if it is possible and legal to send medicine from Hong Kong to NYC? (because the price of the medicine for hepatitis B is more than double here than in HK...)
If you have insurance, you should not need to pay by yourself, also some of the doctor provide free Hep B treatment in Chinatown (chinese doctor speaks cantonese).
You can bring in Oral medication with doctor prescription letter with no problem.. no matter what.
But if it is injection medication which needs health care professional to help you out, I will suggest you NOT to do it. because no one will dare to administrate medication for you. Medication from hk, may not approved by FDA.
For us, we will only administrate medication which prescribed by MD in US to protect my professional license.
