bb head - BIG size

the doctor from Health Clinic advise me that my bb (she's now 6 mth) got BIG head ar. Have to go back and see doctor again 2 month later.

Any mother got such experience? any opinion.

我個仔現在六個多月, 上次去QE看頸仔時(是健康院refer的),醫生話他的頭圍大得快左, 要排期照超聲波檢查.
後來,我上網找資料,知道如果頭圍大得太快, 可能是水腦.
不過, 我有個護士朋友話, 如果BB是水腦, 好早期就會有徵狀, 唔會等到六個月, 所以你唔需要太擔心.
當然我同意要定期住check住, 會穩陣D.

BB 叫 Benjamin 太太餵人奶 2004/02/02 3.09kg - 出世 2004/05/01 6.00kg - 識叫‘阿爹、爹、Un-coo’ 2004/05/25 6.59kg - 鍾意用女仔聲去聊人講‘野‘ 2004/06/02 6.72kg - 4個月大，很乖地看媽媽涼衣服 2004/06/19 7.00kg - 4個半月大 2004/07/02 7.15kg - 5個月大，D喊聲唔同初生時候 2004/07/28 7.40kg - 快6個月啦！主動又好費力地才叫到Daddy。 2004/08/02 7.50kg - 鍾意媽媽奶，張開獅子口。對其他糊仔，閉緊咪實。

44cm ar. higher than the higher curve as shown in the booklet from Health clinic law.

Oh! Quite Large.

My son (just 6 months old) head circumference is 45cm (about at 80% curve).
No need to be worried. Life is easy.

I'd like to share my experience with you. Now my child is 22 months. But he is extremely big head child. I totally understanding your worry, because his big head issue long last from his birh until 14 months. He done the ultrasound when he birth, the result is normal. But his size still above 97 percentile of the booklet. During 12 months, the clinic doctor refer to paediatrics in hospital. Luckily, my sister was able to arrange an expertise paediatrician to see my child. He suggested him to have MRI of the brain. He explained details to me. There is still 5 % problems of some children he got big head, even though he is normal development. By passing the painful experience, now he is normal result. And I can tell everyone he is "Big Head" child. I'd like to share more information with you if you found it useful.
