Because of my c6 sperm quality, i am going to have ivf + icsi, any successful case to share?

I am cosidering to do ivf in 寶德醫務, and the whole process will be done in 勝利? Have anyone tried this before? is it safe to have the treatment there instead of hospital?

I have my first ivf in October, and just confirmed bingo last friday. I started my pregnancy plan in April 2007, tried 4 months, but no result, so my friend refers me to see Doctor William So then. (around HK$70 to 80k)

Doctor So first suggests my husband and I to do some basic test, and also suggests we try it naturally, as we only tried 4 months.
So I did some test and it seems I am fine while my husband has not done any test during that time.
We then tried few more months, and go back to Doctor So again in August 2008, my husband then check the sperm, and finally confirmed the sperm activities are not so good. Since I am already 39, then Doctor So suggest I do ivf directly, no waste time and money to do iui.
So I have my first ivf in October and success.

congraulation!! 希望我都可以快d報喜啦, 我昨天都睇完Dr Carina Chan, 佢建議我直接做ivf, 原因係老公丁丁嘅問題, 不過我地仲考慮緊, 因為$$未必afford到 (70-80k), 想排政府, 但又唔等得咁耐, 因c6過多幾年就50yrs啦, 好煩!!

排政府，女姓如過40歲喺唔收架！男姓就唔知計唔計！你可以打電話問清楚！
如果新症要排9個月至一年至可見第一次醫生！之後再過9個月才可做IVF,即喺要等兩年！如果你好彩依家喺私家做一次就成功，到時你嗰bb 都兩歲啦！

我都喺出年6月至喺政府見第一次醫生，我自己都預計要2010年至有得做！但因我知道自己身體嘅限制，只好一路喺私家做IVF，一路等2010年啦！mk55講得啱，時間不留人，快d同你老公相量一下啦！

have you frozen the eggs before the treatment? or use the fresh one? my husband seems to be too nervous, he failed to make the fresh one on the day of iui.

could you mind sharing where have you done the ivf?
how many eggs got fertilized? thank you.

Did you need to go to hospital when drawing the eggs and putting the embryo? My doctor will do the ivf in the private lab. thanks

I done all in my doctor's private lab (偉澤), never go to any hospital.

Hi Woodstocks,

I think as long as the private lab is well equiped, it should be ok. But I know nothing about 寶德醫務 and 勝利, so can't give you any advise. From my experiences, it seems drawing the eggs and putting the embryo are not very complicated procedures for ivf doctors. But if you need to draw a "certain numbers" of egg, you may need anesthesia, and that sounds a little bit dangerous for me. Anyway, hope someonw know about 寶德醫務 and 勝利 can share with you their experiences.

因為當天先生唔得閑,精子都是預先雪藏的,今次是我第一次做.一共抽佐11粒卵子,有5粒受精,今次放佐2個胚胎,有3個可以雪,留番下次用.最重要是放鬆心情.

醫生話如果抽蛋較多, 要找麻醉師幫我吔麻醉. 雖然落嘅麻醉藥好輕, 但相對整個抽蛋及放蛋嘅手術, 我覺得麻醉都有風險
