is your bun from overseas or finished contract. If from overseas, then it might take some time to train her before she would become good. If for finished contract, then there is no cure and you better terminate her contract
so bad wor. I will never employ finished contract maid.
I heard plently of stories about employing finished contract maid. Some really bad agencies disguished themselves as ex-employer of the maid and highly recommend the maid thro phone. So for finished contract maids, we must be very careful and select good and trustworthy agents if there is no referral from our friends. However, there are so few good maids on street!!!
A real story happened to my friend recently. Due to family change, my friend needs a maid urgently so she found maids thro' agency. ".xxxshine' and the agents there introduced her a no of maids, some are terminated contracts. My friends at first did not interview those unfinished contract but because there are so few to choose, so she interviewed one of them and managed to get in touch with the 'ex-employer' of the maid. Over the phone, the lady told her the reasons for terminating the maid's contract is that she no longer needs her because of family problems. The maid is overall good. My friend also liked the maid in the interview as she is quite pleasant and looks honest. There came to a point that the maid would come up to my friend's place to try a day. The real part of the story began. It so happened my friend bumped into an old friend of her in the street when her friend was bringing her daughter to see the doctor, with stitches in her head. When further asked, it was caused by her careless maid who was fired and her maid's name is Catherine and when asked more, it was exactly the maid my friend is going to try at home. It goes without saying that my friend never talked to the real 'ex-employer' of that Catherine. The story ended here. My friend is still looking for maids while she employed part time to do the work for the time being. How 'bad' are some of the agencies and how cunning are the maids.
