6 月尾回加，想知申請high school成个process 的概況，有經驗媽媽可否分享吓。例如在registration centre 做完assessment, 要幾耐先須要去學校註册；註册後又有甚麼要做？因我想安排吓或同阿女去个short trip

雖然唔明你講的short trip
但可以答你如下：
做完assessment 拎住份報告去指定high school, 學校通常7月頭放summer holiday, 你6月尾返，可以喺放假前去學校報到，否則要等到8月最後一個星期，學校才開。

早過暑假做好d，因為high school要约guidance選科，遲會少d選擇。

The Assessment test appointment need to make with welcome Centre. It take around one week to send the results to your school. Need to wait for they send the results before registration with school.
This is what I experienced last summer, not sure is update or not.

Thanks for yr reply. 咁即是就算6月尾做到assessment, 都要等到8 月尾（school 重開）先可去register?

你可以試吓send email make 定appointment 問下，睇吓做唔做得切。

有冇人在York region reception centre 做過assessment ? 想make appointment, send email 冇reply, 找朋友在那边call, 又話个voice mail full, 怎辦好？

我囡剛去咗
Georges Vanier Reception Centre做Assessment. 登記期間聽到好多人打電話去問預約做assessment, 佢地係唔接受, 要個學生到咗先可以預約, 最重要係要有地址證明。

我囡上星期三去登記, 今星期二做英文及數學Assessment（8am-2pm）, 即時有report, 再去學校登記。

Thanks pamper for yr information. 但我們會住Markham, 屬 York region school board, 會否不同呢！

If your address is from the York region, you have to go to the York region school board.

May I ask which grade is your daughter at? I am planning for my son to go next summer.

阿女回去讀grade 9 . 剛找朋友call 了，York school board 的 reception centre, book 到15/7 先可做assessment, 仲要去別處做

唔好意思想問一下你知唔知, 如果我女兒讀緊或讀完中五先過加拿大, 應該讀grade幾? 點樣銜接入大學? 謝謝!

I think your grade will be determined by the assessment, I want my son to enter Grade 9 next year too but I am afraid he will get to a higher grade after the assessment. Or do they look at the year you were born to tell which grade you should be at?
