雖然仲有兩年或者3年(因為系11月出世)﹐個仔先至入學﹐ 但系我完全唔知道呢度既
教學系點﹐響港澳﹐小朋友系幼稚園已經要做好多功課﹐ 有好多測驗 (睇見個D父
母日日返工﹐放左工就教小朋友功課之類)!! 但系呢度呢? 有無媽咪可以分享下你
地既經驗俾我呀?

據我所知（唔係１００﹪準）

足兩歲（好似）可以返nursery，唔洗一定要九月先開學，幾時開始都ok，但都係睇嗰間學校
報名要早（打去問）因為d位都好爆下
通常一個星期返２﹣３日，可以揀返邊日，朝早三個鐘
都係玩遊戲，做手工，唱下歌，講故仔，食茶點
完全無功課

大部份要返全職嘅父母，會放小朋友喺child　care　centre，幾個月都己經收（睇下邊間啦，早朝湊到５﹣６點左右）
好少小朋友係grandma湊
好多全職媽媽（你見平時公園平日都咁多人就知！）
佢地通常都會渣車同d仔女周圍去，會上下playgroup，jumpin' bean咁
會去下圖書館（有講故事時間，每間圖書館唔同）去下toys　library
有時shopping唔想湊住小朋友嘅會放佢地去creche幾個鐘，畀小朋友玩

到咗小學係yr１﹣６（5歲﹣１１歲）佢地入學年齡係由九月一計起，唔同香港
佢地多數喺學校做堂課，會喺屋企睇書，通常holiday／weekend先有功課
多數既所謂功課都係做下research，比較活動性，要做下數，作下文，但抄寫唔多
仲有學校都有好多課外活動畀小朋友參加
放學時香港既學校係圍滿晒工人
英國既係圍晒私家車同全職媽媽
佢地收料好勁，要多d同佢地溝通

到１１歲會考１１plus
pass咗既可以揀"文法學校"係比較好既學校
中學４＋２
16歲考GCSE，成績ok可繼續升讀yr５同６
18歲考a﹣level
考大學時唔同香港既jupus，係揀科再揀大學

我諗都講得差唔多啦~唔好意思，有一段有d離題添！

In primary school, what the teacher teaches is really depends on what your kid's level.
that means in the same year, same class, the top group's children is learning far more/ difficult than the lower group. in year 1,the top group's children maybe doing 10 words in spelling test while the least top group is only doing 5 words: the top group's children maybe writting sentences while the lower group is only writting words. which group the child is really depends on his/her ability.
they don't have many tests or exams, from year1, only spelling test on every week, they are learning times table on year2, my son is in yr3 now, he already learnt 2,3,4,5,10,11,12 times tables (they don't learn them in order, they learn the easy ones first)

By the way, they have end of key stage test (sats) on end of yr2, yr6 ,yr9 (it might be canceled soon) then GCSE and A level test

If you are talking about free nursery places under the government scheme, has to be 足3歲: 12.5 hours per week (free early education). 我聽有D mums話 some nurseries要你補錢返多D鐘先幫你攪返12.5 hours免費.

我大仔e+讀緊year 1..放緊half term...暫時未有homework帶番屋企做. 暫時未有spelling test. 每星期有2本書帶番屋企讀. 日日問佢今日teacher教過d乜, 佢日日都話ABC..真比佢激死...

我都聽講過nursery 系大概3歲﹐好似加左鐘數﹐我響個本community newsletter 到
睇到﹐不過唔系好記得!!! 其實nursery 同reception year 有物分別架?

我個仔而家去緊 baby n toddlers group﹐下年一月就去playgroup! 佢出年11月先
3歲﹐感樣系唔系應該幫佢而家報定nursery還是幾時報好呢?

cissie﹐ 物呢度d primary school 都有分優資生架? 你唔講真系唔知!!!!! times
table 系咪指乘數表呀?? 如果系﹐就真系好奇﹐先學2﹐3﹐4﹐5﹐10﹐11﹐12﹐

it is not really 優資生, it just seperate a class of students into a few groups(5 or 6 groups) the top groups students are brighter so they teach more to them.
times tables~they starts from 2x, then 5x, 10x,11x, 3,4,12....from the easiest one to more difficult ones.
Where do you live? you better put your child's name on nursery's list now, the good ones always full! I put my children's name down when they were 12 months old! However, you don't have to put their name down for school yet.
When you go to some big book shop, go to the children's department, you will find lots of sats practice papers there, from key stage 1 to 11+ to GCSE. you can take a look there. key stage 1: they have maths, reading, writting and science.

haha... if I ask my son what he learn from school, he just answer me " I don't remember!"

so i take a look at his classroom, see what's on the board, what is hanging around in the classroom.

我孖女兩歲九個月大讀 Pre-school，四歲三個月讀reception，Nursery 好似係可以讀到五歲先轉讀小學.........

我大仔2歲10個月就開始讀nursery, 今年1月(4歲10個月) 讀reception, then 9月(5歲半) 開始讀 year 1....
我仔e+果間係由3歲半開始讀nursery until 5歲.. then.. reception..then.. year 1.......
其實depends on 小朋友生日個月份..我大仔3月出世的..所以佢由開始讀nursery to reception都係1月開始..但year 1就9月開始..所以有時都好confuse学校嘅制度..
