小兒09年1月份兩歲, 開始返Pre-Nursery下午班, 但他一向習慣上午8點鐘起床, 下午2點至4點午睡, 點可以調較他的作息時間? 好擔心啊, 有無經驗可以分享?

My boy goes to afternoon class at 1:00-4:00pm. I let him take a nap at arond 11:00am-12:00pm. At the beginning have to wake him up for lunch. Now he is used to the time schedule. Normally he goes to bed at 9:00pm and gets up at around 7:30am.

Maybe you can let your boy sleep earlier in the night and wake him up earlier in the morning. Or you may let him take nap after he comes back from school. I think kids can get used to new time schedule very quickly.

Thanks for your kind sharing. Your schedule is quite suitable for our lifestyle coz I want him to sleep earlier in the night time.

According to your boy's current schedule, does he need to take a nap after school?

My boy won't take nap after school if he already sleeps before lunch time. Only if he missed the nap in the morning. Like last time, he had a doctor's appointment in the morning and didn't have time to take a nap. He was crying when sending him to school, most probably due to sleepy. But the teacher said he was ok in school that day. Then he slept for more than an hour right after he came back from school.

So I think kids can adjust themselves to new time schedule easily. Wish your kid have happy school days.

May I know is it your intention to let him get in PM class? Most of the parents choose AM class, but some PM class mothers said that PM class is better. I choose PM class only because AM class is full already.

I prefer AM class too! I don't know if PM class is better or not. My boy's school AM class is full. I have no choice. Same as you. I will switch him to AM class as soon as it has vacancy.
