You can talk wo your husband about your thought directly.
Normally 生 2nd BB will use less time.
I 生 my 2nd BB on 4/7, I 入產房 at 11:00p.m., but BB already 出世 at 11:20pm, so you can tell your husband, may be he really don't want to stay for so long.My husband also say why I am so first, he just go into the 產房, then he need to leave.
You can imagine, your husband need to stay in 產房 with you for long time, he see your pain, but he can't do anything for you, even he want to share the pain with you, he will feel 無助, so he may unwilling to go again.
