My friend 's maid doesn't want holiday & only get $. My friend always tell her to take rest on Sunday & she would like to stay & work. So, she works very hard & no phone call , no friends , no holiday for a year.
Do your maid same as her ??

To me, it is fine. May be my children are still young. I will be very busy if my maid take rest on Sunday. If my maid don't take rest on Sunday, she will go out with me, such as playing in the Park, paying visit to my friends. Then she will help me to feed and look after the children and at the same time I can chat with my friends. Usually most maids will like to take leave on Sunday, seldom don't like. Take my maid as example, even you give her money in lieu of holiday, she still insist on having holiday.
She is indonesian.
Pay $ for holiday is OK. It is not much $ . Only $2XX.
The point is : if she takes holiday & "learn bad" then she become "lazy, cunning, borrow $, back face, steal things....." . Employer will suffer more than pay $ for holiday. :mrgreen: :mrgreen:
