I make a post here is want to make everyone aware there is a bad helper which I experienced.
Sumirah was worked for us for 2 months only where she is worked in my housing estate before and we hire her because we need a helper very urgent. She is local and faster on apply, so we asked her to come over.
The nightmare start........
She is lazy, no memory at all, fault repeat and repeat even we have told her the right thing.
The first week, an incident, my wife just steps out for a hair cut, terrible thing happened. The building management called me said my helper with my baby now is at management office as she said no keys to go home. The point is why she goes out? Her execuse was she throw the shit out and the door was shut. The management called me said she already sit ther for over 2 hours.
Question is why she goes out? why will lucky that with baby?
Second week, one evening when I go to kitchen to refill my bowl of rice, feel kitchen very hot. Looked around and found the gas cooker is heating a emply pan, already for over 30mins. Terrible.
4th week, my baby have fever, the second day she suddenly said want to go. Then I try to ask her to stay. Her execuse said problem with home and ex-husband on money........
5th week, my wife goes out for a while again, found she wrongly feeded my baby wrong medicine which it should be take later evening.
8th week, after being blamed, she said she want to go back to Indonesia. Then I asked her agree to go immediately.
Then she goes to agent claimed we asked her to go without notice in-lieu payment, and complained to Labour dept, now still processing the case.
Meanwhile, this helper always find chance talk with mobile phone. Especially when we are steps out. Why I know, because I have set a mobile camera which I can easily dial in and watch. Experienced she tell lie when we watch the screen and ask her what you are doing.
I think some of the local helper are the same, since they have no payment to agent in order to work in Hong Kong, they won't care the job.
Anther point is, since the previous employer have provided her air ticket to go home, she can find another new local employer and redeem the air ticket to $, then she do something bad cause the new employer fire her and sent her back with another air ticket. So they can earn one-way aire ticket value money.
They complained to Labour Dept which is helped by some Associations which help them to ask for money in order can charge part of them. So they normally will complain to such dept. to bet for some employer willing to pay instead trouble.
Obviously, I am not that kind, I am fighting with her on this case with well supportings.
