I got the PR visa, and need to be land before end of the year. For landing, is that only visit in Australia, do I need to go to any immigration centre to do any procedures? Hence, will go back to HK, and will not live in Australia within ten years, can my baby (citizen) applies the "milk money'??

Are you going to pay tax in Aus? There's no "Milk Money" term in Aus, but Family Tax Benefit. If you pay tax in Aus, you can apply for the tax benefit. Amount depends on your family income.

If you are PR, why your baby is Citizen? Your baby born in Oz?

For landing, just enter anywhere in Australia then leave. It will have your record in the system.

I though PR visa only valid for 5 yrs, is it new rule to have 10yrs PR visa?

Even you don't have income, you still can apply FTB. No milk money such thing, just help you pay less tax, around 10% less income tax then compare to those one without children.

My hubby is citizen, so baby can get the citizen, even she was born in HK, however, I only got the PR. The PR visa only valid for 5 yrs, but as my hubby works in HK, so I think I can get the visa extention after 5 yrs. I was a oversea student in Australia before, and I got the tax file number, while I worked as p/t, and hubby also worked in Australia before, so he also got the tax file number. But, we came back to HK for 7 yrs already.
So, for the FTB, which only for the people who live in Australia, right?

YOU CAN'T GET AN EXTENTION OF YOUR PR VISA,
UNLESS YOU HAVE LIVED IN AUSTRALIA FOR AT LEAST 1 YEAR WHILE YOU ARE HOLDING YOUR PR VISA.

You can't apply FTB if not living in Aus. Otherwise, the Aus tax payers would be, in this way, paying for the livings for people in other countries. Who would be such stupid tax payer??

Where can I find out the details on PR Visa extension? Is that mean the visa can't be extended if the person has not stayed in Australia for over 1 year after landing? What do you need to do in order to extend the Visa?

You have to spend at least 2 years within 5 years in
Australia.

So, if I fullfill the criteria for applying RRV, it doesn't mean
that I will get it??? Actually I don't care it is 5 years or 3 years RRV, as long as they grant the RRV for me.

My expire date for PR is in 2013, and I am planning to
settle in Au in 2012, and then apply for RRV in 2014
(because at the time I have stayed in Au for two years),
do you think it is ok??
