I purchased Dao Heng Domestic Helper Insurance for the maid, however, my bad maid go to Philipino Doctor to have medical consultation and write down on the medical certificate said: dizziness (because of lack of sleep at lease 7 hours for 24 hours) as a result, I can not claim the medical fee, then I ask Dao Heng why dizzines cannot claim, it's only a normal sickness, they reply because of quality of rest cannot claim, then I argue with them, why not, when you persuade people to buy the insurance, you say yes, yes, yes, when we claim the fee, you say no, no, no.
Dao Heng Insurance is very tricky.

Anyway, my bad maid is the worst, she know this kind of method can make me can not claim back the money, she is very bad + the Philipino Doctor.

I am now make a complaint to Medical Council towards the Philipino Doctor (Dr Maria xxxx located in Causeway Bay)

我個 Bun Bun 都好似看這醫生, Full Name 陳馬X莉, 佢地址好似在 Wanchai,
Hennessy Road.
其實, 如平時病 (傷風/感冒/因為做家務而致不適), 我覺得僱主一定要支付醫療費, 但這個醫生咁寫你個工人沒有足夠休息, 咁寫其實好有問題.
你有沒有比充足休息時間比佢. 這個定義好有問題, 缺乏充足休息時間, 可圈可點, 其實要比個工人一日休息時間要幾多 ? 如佢要一日10個小時晚上休息, 而你亦有比佢應有休息時間,
但佢唔'訓', 佢講電話, send SMS 等等, 晚晚如是, 其實問題在那裡, 你工人最清楚, 其實如果個醫生咁寫 "lack of sleep', 我一定要個工人自己比錢看這一次醫生.
(如你自問巳有足夠時間比個工人休息.)
你應該堅持唔比錢. 唔通佢在街外野 D女人病回來, 我都要比錢佢醫. 好似講唔通.
你自己想下, 其實這張 receipt 好有可能成為工人告你比唔足夠休息時間工人罪證.

希望我只是多想左.

Yes, exactly this Doctor, be carefull, she will only listen to the maid and write down whatever they request. Of course I have let the maid to sleep for at lease 8 hours, you know they always tell lies, lies, lies, & she always talk on the phone till mid night, anyway, I have fired her already.
But I want to ask, can the employer have the right to let the maid to consult specified doctors only? 指定佢看那個醫生?
If she do something like that, can I refuse to pay the medical fee? 工人自己比錢看這一次醫生?
But she is very tricky, she didn't notify me in advance when she consult the doctor, then when the last day in front of the agent, she show me the receipt and ask me to pay,

anyway, I didn't scare, I ask the doctor why she write something on the medical certificate like this, she didn't live with the maid & only listen to what she says & write it down, that's why I wrote an complaint to the Medical Council. Actually the doctor didn't have evidence to support why she know the maid is lack of sleep.

其實, 這個醫生好多 Bun Bun 看, 我唔知這個醫生會是否只聽 D工人講, 我工人亦不是經常看這個醫生.
因我家住新界, 而這醫生在香港,
傷風/感冒, 我要佢看我家中看開醫生,
但上次因為家中全日停電, 而佢又話佢手好痛, 因之前一日, 佢 clean 家中 window後發覺好痛, 我未唔理佢去邊到看醫生, 總之, 下午4時有電前一定要回到家, 醫生寫比佢是' Muscle Strain', HK$200.00,
D老 Bun 好聰明, 他們好自把自為, 我要佢有病第一時間要話我知, 我要佢看我指定醫生, 因為家中醫生和我們好相熟, 有什麼問題, 醫生會叫護士比電話我,
因為D 工人好中意好小事都看醫生, 還要自選醫生, 之前我巳同我工人講, 小病是可以 claim 保險, 如常常要看醫生, 我想其實你(工人)都未必乎合做工人要求, 我會要我 consult 我醫生出封信, 証明佢唔識合做工人, 佢便以後都唔洗做, 回家了.
因為 D 老 Bun (我 Bun 43), 年紀大, 好多小病(not sleep well, high blood etc), 佢自己因為這些病看完這個醫生都沒有要我回錢.
因為我看到很多藥由這醫生開比佢, 而佢多數看這醫生是在星期日, 他放假時間看, 我未無問他.
還有, 點解我用這 Bun Bun, 因為這 Bun 是9年前在我家做過, 後來回鄉結婚生完 BB, 剛剛我又炒了幫我做開9年幾工人, 所以我再找他回來香港幫手. 如果唔係, 我唔會請咁大年紀的工人.

Remember that, you are also 指定看那個醫生 by your employer / company, right? Therefore, as an emplyer, we can 指定醫生 to our helper.

but the benefit of the maid is better than us, they have dental provided, if we being fired within first 3 months (we only received 7 days notice payment) they always enjoy 1 month payment (even though their bad performance) this is not fair, so I am afraid if I didn't pay her the medical fee, she will report to the Labour department
