I got my first PR in 2000 and expired on 2005.

Then I applied again last year, but it just took about 2 weeks.

我個visa會係2013年expire，但我想我未必會係2013前去。我想問吓如果到時我再申請係咪都要睇番到時個point test, 因為我驚到時我唔夠分再申請？！

According to my knowledge, you need to go every year for a short trip then around 2013 you apply an extension for 5 years. In 2018, you apply another extension for another 5 years.
In addition, you need to have bank account, driving licence, medical card, permantly address etc etc. Cos I was very young when I migrate and no one let me know how to do it.

I know we can apply the 3/5 years extension, only if we have stay in Australia for at least 2 years. And I also know that it is kind of hard to apply the 5 years extension!!

My PR visa also be expired very soon. any advice on that? if we re-apply again, does it take a long processing time?

Agree, from my knowledge it is diffiuclt to extend your visa, except you have very strong reason to support your application.

My visa will be expired next year, I just afriad that I can't travel to HK after it.

BTW, how much does it cost for the application?

I've heard it's easy to extend the PR visa if you are living in Australia. Just go to immigration and then they will extend it for you.

However, if your PR visa granted and you are living in overseas when your visa expired, then, it's hard to extend.

唔通你係澳洲境內佢唔比多個visa你出境再入返?

不過我估佢比都係比一兩個月～同埋要"reason"至比

因為你住唔夠兩年要extend個証好似得幾個月期比你～
住夠兩年就可以extend到三至五年～

當然～夠兩年可能佢會睇埋你過去兩年的o野再決定點extend(呢個我個人估計0

如果visa過左期, 就唔可以出境. 因為我聽人講好難批, 所以我都唔打算申請延期. 而家如果容易申請我就試試啦!

錯!!
妳是可以出境, visa 是和出境無關
只是妳無有效入境 visa 就入唔到境
現妳只要入境處辦理:
1. 3個月 return visa (一定批),除好特別除外
或
2. 5年 return visa (要求什麼條件,就請上澳洲移民局網頁找 rerun visa 條件)只要妳有其所需資格,一定批.
