Actually 唔使食補品 is true in a way, cos if too 補, the baby will be too huge for you to give natural birth, esp.鹿茸. I also think that you cannot eat the 鹿茸 and other 補品 until the 'dirty thing' has been gone after giving birth.
Have a balance diet during your pregnancy. Drink more chicken soup is good. Eat steak once in a while if you are lack of iron.
Ignore your mother-in-law and make plans for yourself. She will only affect your mood.
