知不知何為缺乏酵素

My BB is 11 months now. He gets ezema serious. I took him to see many doctors before. Today, my mother takes him to see another doctor, the doctor said my BB lacke of 酵素. If my BB eat the medicine and put the cream, he will recover quickly. But I don't know what is it?
Anybody can help me ? Let me know this problem.

<缺乏酵素>其實是簡稱，正式名稱太長了：
葡萄糖六磷酸脫氫酵素缺乏症 (簡稱G6PD)
我個囡囡8歲la﹐出世時醫生已經話佢缺乏酵素﹐
我真係好擔心﹐但其實小心D 就OK la!!

There're so many kinds of 酵素, do you know what kind of 酵素 the doctor is talking about?
