I'm using the most updated Java Run-time Version 6 update 11, but I don't have problem to logon HSBC e-banking. Which e-baking service is in used?
By the way, as Java will not uninstall the oldest version by default. You may try to uninstall the newest installed version from Control Panel manually.
I found that there is problem with the Java Run time Versioin 6 Update 7 onwards(i.e. update 10, update 11) running the BOC e-banking with e-certificate.
Uninstall the update 10 return to Update 7.
