don't worry,.Moses has the jandice for about 1.1/2 month, provided that his 肝功能is okay, it is according to the blood test, so they will express your baby's blood to check, i would suggest you do not look at them when doing this, otherwise it seems that somebody is killing you when seeing your baby crying .
continous breastfeeding more, at least 12 times per day for newborn.
for safety, and for the test accurately, normally the hospital will express the blood everytime in order to test the rate of the Jaundice.
but in health ctr, they only use a small machine to test, but not accurate.
I think you may have mis-understanding, breastfeeding
IS NOT A CAUSE FOR Newborn Jaundice, and not because
breastfeeding so that the baby needs to have the blood
test.
Most newborns develop some degree of jaundice, which is caused by the buildup in the blood of a yellow pigment called bilirubin and the deposit of this excess bilirubin in the skin. (newborns may develop 2 types of jaundice:normal and abnormal.)
A newborn's immature liver can't handle the extra bilirubin, resulting in this yellow pigment's settling in the skin and reflecting a yellow color by the third or fourth day after birth.This is normal jaundice.
So jaundice is not caused by breastfeeding..
Breastfeeding is the best for the baby..
