Any advice on childcare options? I've checkef out the websites for crntres for babies. They are quite expensive, $4000++ for 1 baby. I have twins. I did consider engaging a maid as well but since I will be working I don't feel safe leaving my twins with the helper at home alone. Any other viable options for me?

最好的選擇仍是請工人在家照顧, 如果有家人幫下眼就最好, 如果唔係就裝CAM啦, 單親照顧兩個BB好辛苦, 又要工作, 又要趕去接BB, 然後回家又要做家務, 又要自己吃飯又要喂BB, 仲要係兩個, 又要沖涼, 真係人都顛!!

1) childcare centre -- expensive but the safest option

2) maid -- 單親媽媽 is right that for twins it's better for you to have a helper at home. But having one maid to look after 2 babies at a time is a very demanding job. You have anyone at home (or maybe grandparents) to help out?

my family is not in hong kong, so I'm pretty much alone with my twins. I will be really dependent on the helper. Any tips on how I can choose a good heloer?

搵好工人要靠運氣, 但我自己就先做好自己, 將心比己, 但又要和工人保持距離

1. 請工人後要給她時間表, 例如什麼時間做什麼 (必須的), 當然可以看情況有些變動
2. 照顧兩個bb係好累的工作, 到時清潔方面或餸菜就要比較將就
3. 安排適當的時間給工人休息, 例如回家後有空就接手照顧bb, 讓她稍稍休息, 始終佢病左就真係搵黎攪
4. 當然仍然都係裝Cam比較妥當, 始終人累就會心情唔好, 睇住佢工作會比較安心(你要話比佢知,你裝左Cam)
5. 同埋如果BB係初生, 初期係最繁忙既時間搵多個鐘點保母幫下手都係好
