我打算餵人奶，但係聽好多朋友講話有買奶泵，請問你地會買邊隻牌子呀?

本來想買m字頭那隻,但係過千蚊又唔捨得,因為我打算返工就停餵, 而家打算chuchu

I have used Avent manual pump.....which is excellent.
I don't know about Chu Chu but seems that the comment from BK mama that if you want to buy manual pump, Avent is the best.

I have one milk pump at home, I will buy one more.

I intend to bf till my son reach 2 years old (I bf my 1st son till 2.5 years old).

Why you stop bf when going to work? You may pump milk once at work...then pump milk before and after work. It will be good enough for your baby.

i heard it's very good as well~~ think i'll get that for my baby...

i think i'll keep breastfeeding my baby until she's 6 months but will start mixing her meals with formula at around 3 months.

妳好厲害呀！竟然餵人奶餵咗兩年半．

我都打算餵人奶，因為要返工，我唸住餵到半年都算自己叻，面對妳真係望塵莫及！

不過唔肯定自己有無奶，所以我打算生咗之後有奶先買奶泵，會唔會太遲呢？我見有ｄ奶泵可以一次過兩邊一齊泵，好唔好呢？唔需要分開兩次泵，啱晒懶人如我．

same as you, I was not sure if I can bf, thus, I did not buy the pump and intend to buy it right before I go back to work. The tips to succesfully bf is to bf more. Don't supplement milk powder if do not require to i.e. after you bf, if the baby don't cry, no need to give him milk powder.

During 7-8th days, my breasts were so painful and full that supply > demand. Thus, my husband has to buy the pump immediately for me to release the milk.

If you believe you can do it, you really can do it.
I pump milk only once at work during lunch hour till 1 year old. Then no more pumping as baby can eat solid food. I only bf him before and afterwork.

If you want more milk, the best way is bf your baby on one hand and pump on the other hand.
My opinion is no need to buy 兩邊pump unless you don't want to directly bf your baby. Single pump is good enough

i checked Jusco about the Avent pump, it's manual pump, so if you have to bf the baby with one hand, how can you pump with another hand? (as you need to hold the bottle and pump milk) do you mean to have other people to help you when pumping milk?

哇, 你好利害呀! 上次我努力餵人奶, 但係一直都好似唔夠, 我個寶寶又從來唔會為咗肚餓喊, 所以我唔知夠唔夠就mix奶粉, 尤其是夜奶果餐, 之後, D奶量就明顯減少。最後只掙扎到6個月就無奶了。現在細寶快出世, 我打算儘量餵人奶。上次我都係用Avent manual 奶泵, 開頭唔係好識用, 用手泵仲快, 但係順咗之後真係好好用。
我有一個問題, 因為泵完D奶會放在冰格, 如何可以避免被其他生肉汚染?

No, you have to do it by yourself.
It is quite difficult to explain.....but let me try try

When you bf your baby via your left nipple, you need to put a pillow on your left next to your waist, then you put your baby (the body) on top of that pillow. You use your left hand to hold your baby's head during bf.

Then you use your right hand to hold the pump and pump the milk. You may put the pump on top of your leg.

You need to practice....espeically how to hold your baby safety.

Hope you understand what I say.

Last time, I did supplement milk powder during 1st few days....but he only drank 1 ozs and sometime will vomit all the milk.

Then, I try not to supplement any and examined the no. of diaper he used. It was within the guideline. Thus, I did not supplement at all.

The storage is a good issue. I had 2 fridges at home during last pregnancy but not anymore. I am also wondering how to store the milk.

I will use milk bag to store the milk, and then will put it into a big plastic box. For the meat, I will put double bag so as to avoid infection.
