Let your baby decide itself if it want milk at night or not. Mine need once only at 4 o'clock when she's around 2.5 months and last night (3months) she slept through the night from 2230 until 0615. after 1 month you can try to feed milk bottle (with your expressed milk) in the night, which is usually faster.
when is your last feeding usually before you go to sleep? My son usually sleeps around 7~8 pm and thru 1~2am (~6 hours sleep), I tried to wake him up before I go to sleep around 11 pm and hoped that he can sleep thru 5 am the next day, but he still wakes up in the midnight, I am struggling whether I have to quit his midnight feeding AND how...since I have to go back work 2 weeks later.
My baby always cry for milk around 2130. When she's in 1.5 months, I remembered she still needed midnight feeding at around 0200-0300. Only after two months old then she can sleep from 2230 to 0400.
