My son is in K1 now and he studied in New Gen. since N class. We always speak Cantonese at home when he was in N but his English really improved a lot and that must be learnt from school. Now we have a Filipino helper and he can communicate with her quite well. His class teachers are all good too but don't expect them to call you often to follow up about the kids' progress or anything. They will only call you when there is anything happened. incident.
