I ordered a pair of see by chloe boots from farfetch (over USD400). It was obviously defective with the zipper falling midway every couple of steps I took. Farfetch (supplier being Onward Luxury Group SPA) refused to refund/accept responsibility and after their so called brand assessment, said that the brand knew about this problem and yet continued with the production of this boot - which is obviously bogus as I have researched other buyer reviews of this pair of boots and no one mentioned this zipper falling problem. So I am not sure if all farfetch products are real, so be careful.
I wore it for about 30 minutes and that is when I found out the zipper keeps falling... then I had to go home and change shoes. Without wearing it, I wouldn't know the zipper keeps falling when I walk. Has anyone managed to get a refund on worn, but defective products? After brand assessment, they did confirm the zipper falls but blames it on the brand/boot design which I don't believe to be true.... The are refusing the refund right now. Thanks.
I returned it in the original box and shoe bag. I made it clear to farfetch CS that is all I have and they nevertheless asked me to send the boots back for brand assessment. It was my first time ordering from farfetch and didn't keep all the documents. So after the assessment they acknowledged the zipper dropping problem and said it was a design problem which the brand knows about, not defect. Then they said it was worn, next they said the boots had creases (the picture they gave me seem more worn than when I returned the boots as I barely wore them, so I think it was maybe from their assessment) and today they said the security tags were needed. Anyway, I want to share my experience and hope others will be careful when they order from farfetch. I have now researched and it seems there are quite a lot of complaints with faulty products too when ordering from farfetch. Good that you could refund/exchange the ones you got that had problems. I will not order from them again.
