我舊年搬過來北美，因為有傢俬，自己包左一隻貨櫃，既然運費都係咁多，雜物我用得著嘅都帶過來，費時來到重新買過，但如果你唔係包一隻櫃，咁要計下數，是否值得帶
我嘅書就大部份冇帶過來，千幾本送晒俾人或者捐左，只帶左少量唔捨得嘅書，其他轉電子書。文件就全部帶晒
有 d 電器呢邊未必買到啱用嘅，可以考慮帶過來。我帶左電飯煲、多士爐、麵包機、蒸爐、Bruno hot plate 同風筒
If the documents are important, bring them along with you, otherwise, consider scanning.
For books & textbooks, consider e/pdf version. They are a fraction of the price the the physical book.
oh, and really ask yourself if all of your stuff are actually important.If a thing you didn't touch for a year, it probably isn't that important and you can throw it away.
