One of the worse services I’ve ever experienced – not from the doctor, but from the nurses (this is coming from my friends and other mothers who said the same thing after they visited Dr Lo Yue Fan as well). I’m 22 weeks pregnant and have been researching various gyno to do prenatal and structural tests in Hong Kong, and Dr Lo Yue Fan’s office is by far the worse encounter I’ve ever had.

Aside from being a challenge to get through over a call, or book an appointment -- when someone does pick up, the nurse would bark at you, use very harsh languages, and is just pure impatient and outright rude – they even hung up on me when I asked(very nicely) whether she can reconfirm the appointment date and time.

I was planning on trying Dr Lo for prenatal examinations but there’s never any opening, so I booked a structural test instead and months ahead of time. On the day of, I was ill and called in to postpone for the sake of all the other mother sat the clinic, and the nurse just outright told me to not come and go find another doctor. Never had I experienced such poor service that triggered me to leave this review and warn other mothers-to-be.

I have now found another great gyno who has an army of amazing nurses that actually takes care of me with patience, answers my questions as a new mom, and even calls to confirm my appointments. Given I’m new to this, I’m not sure what the normal expectation is with prenatal care, but if you’re looking for a good doctor to follow through with your pregnancy, don’t even bother with Dr Lo Yue Fan because his nurses will just give you a living hell which isn’t something you need while experiencing your pregnancy journey.
