As the first cluster of local swine flu cases was found, all nurseries, kindergartens and primary schools are closed for two weeks. My girl so also has no class in the HK Children Choir. However, parents had already paid for the lessons ($200/lesson), we now at least loss 2 classes ($400). Called the Choir today, they say no refund or re-arrangement of the lost classes.
So if the govt continues stopping the classes for 2 more wks or even more, we still need to pay for the lost lessons (cause all students need to pay by autopay every 2 mths).
The bad arrangement of this Choir is really unfair to the parents and kids. We pay for nothing and they do not bother to do any compensation. If we want to maintain a seat in the Choir, parents need to keep paying $$. Bad bad bad!
Called the Choir again and they said they will continue to debit our account. That means parents still need to autopay the July and Aug fees without knowing whether there are any classes after 25th. We ourselves need to watch out their website to see any update.
