My maid has joined us this month whose birthday is this Friday. She has reminded us more than 2 times of when her birthday is.
Actually, we will definitely buy a cake for her as usual practice. But it is odd for her to keep hinting us. Her performance is so so and single-tasked person. What's more, she cannot manage my bb.
We don't want to compare her with our ex-maid who is smart and capable. We encourage her and say that we are happy with her performance. Indeed, we believe we have made a not very good choice of getting her.
Just want to check if filippina thinks her birthday is very important who will keep remind us although she only works for me 2 weeks.
My two ex-maids are also filippina but they never do this. Or they know we will buy gift and birthday cake....

I'm a forgetful person and even nearly forget it is my hubby's bithday before, not to talk about maids.
You are nice enough to have celebrations with your maids. Juz do whatever you think appropriate and usual for yourself. As an adult, I don't think we would usu make birthday celebrations in high profile. If she keeps on reminfding, I think I would simply tell her that I do know it and will shut her up.
