To be short: 5 in 1 included 5 types of vaccines in 1 injection. Out of this five vaccines, 3 (I can't remember the names) is offered Gov't free of charge. The excluded one are Polio and HIB. Polio is offered by Gov't (also free of charge) in oral intake type instead of injection which most people believe that injection is better. For HIB, no offer from Gov't at all. I checked with private clinic b4, a single HIB injection will cost $300-400. That is, you can save ur baby from taking 2 injections (3 in 1 and HIB) and a Polio intake by just 1 injection of 5 in 1. Also, less chance for fever for 5 in 1 injection.
Any additional comments ?
Btw, I have another question here, apart from GSK, a private clinic offer any brand " Aventis" for 5 in 1 injection which cost $450 per injection. They said the quality is better than GSK. Does any members heard about this b4, many thanks.
