Is the beginning month of each school year(NSW) at January?
My girl's birthday month is October. Must she be an older child to go Kindergarten? ie.,
My girl will finish her K3 in HK at July when she's 4 years 9 months. Must her repeat Kindergarten in Sydney at next January (since the rule says: "apply NSW government schools if they turn five on or before 31 July in that year?")
Thanks so much for your reply. In fact, I've email to some public schools to ask such question. They advised me to apply at least 6 months prior to January. Sounds the queue is quite a crowd!

your gal won't be the older gal in the class becoz lot of child birth in Jul will go to school one year later.
