how come when they are 唱聖詩 , they also like to arm up?? (hold the both hands up to the sky like that)

They are being expressive and it's very natural when one is concentrating in worship and dedicating their praises to the Lord. Even in pop concerts, fans will hold up their hands and wave to their idols, if you think in this way, it's very natural, right?
