In the past, i would always suggest people to buy Canon's DC in viewing of the quality and also others factor like storage media/battary consumption etc. However, recently, i found that Sony also produce a really good DC, namely W1. Despite the fact it is using MS which is a bit expensive, the rest of this DC is quite good and should be within your budget.
