Hi, I'm wondering if anyone has tried to transfer from one district to another with the reasons of employment and after school care. Please let me know how's the process and the difficulties. Thanks in advance!
i have never tried, because i know the chance is very low.
i heard that even if you have a good reason to request for inter-district transfer, they'll honor your request only if space is available (of course after all the spaces are given to the district residents). if the school you're going to apply is a popular one, the chance is very unlikely that they'll honor your request.
It's not depend on the publicity of the school. it depends on the district residents. All public school must fulfill their residents first. If more child live in the school district, the low chance you have.
