i agree that 新婚2公婆都唔係個個供得到. so the 3m+ flats are not for 收入唔 dor 嘅 young couple.
there are still some choices in North Pt and Wanchai at below 2m but only 3xx sq ft. efficient rate and yield is high. maybe u can look for these. i want to buy one of these too. will check check when i have time.
everyone has to plan for their finance. like me, i chose to get married when finance is stable. i gave birth to BB after i got married 4 years (which is quite late) to ensure i can give a better living environment to baby.
i think 樓市will have some correction, already correcting as sellers are willing to negotiate/lower down to more reasonable price.

Maybe stable until after CNY. I don't think gov't will let prices go down as too many people bought these last few months. If prices down, people may complain again.
After CNY, may creep up. But even saying this, I can't bring myself to buy as I see the econ isn't good, job situation no good, stock market not good, only hse is up up up. If I do buy and prices drop, then I'd be big trouble.
