I'm emigrating Hong Kong (for good). Should I take out my MPF money? If I did, would it cause any problem if I come back to Hong Kong to live and work in the future? Please advice. Thank you.

but I will have to make a sworn statement that I'm permantly leaving HK. I called 積金局 and asked about that, and they told me if I ever come back to HK in the future, I break the law. That's why I'm hesitated.

Few years ago, one of my relative who is a Taiwanese, she took out her MPF and made a sworn statement declared that she would back to Taiwan. But now she is back and working as usual.

Thank you all of you. So there's no good keeping the MPF in Hong Kong as investment if I'm not sure if I will come back?

Is it common people leave with their MPF and later come back and work again?

I just want to make sure if I ever come back to HK it will still be OK.
