Hello SKH mommies,
I am going to take my daughter to SKH for N1 interview next month. Can you please share your experience on how you successfully got your children to this school?

I really want her to get into this school but she can only speak English (it's my fault that I don't speak Cantonese with her at home), not sure if this will be a problem...

Nothing special really , there will be 2 teachers . one of them will play with your kid . and the other one will talk to you . they'll explain to you the direction and goal of their school . because this school believed at this stage , the kid should learn from fun , activity , develope their own intereste. Must eat by themselves , no dipper in school ... etc. And the principle is very confident with their experiences , they're doing the right thing. Everything they do , 1st priority is your child benefit. And they need to make sure , you're believing in the same thing . And will cooperate with the school .

My son don't speak much cantonese before going into N1 , but this won't be problem .

Hi Kaliboker,

Many thanks for your sharing. There are only 16 seats available in Sep this year. Think it's really hard to get in. I do believe in the school after the visit the other day. I hope we will have a chance to study there.

I particular like there menu, seems they really try to give the best to the kids, so sweet!

yes their meal are really good . Very healthy and balance diet. The school pay a lot of attention into what they eat.
Even at home , I won't cook 2 dishes and a soup for lunch eveyday !!!

MTHL, not sure if it's too late to reply but don't worry too much, not speaking Cantonese should be fine. They have children from differenet nationalities (e.g. Japanese, Australian) as well. The kids learn Cantonese really fast!

Thank you for your sharing. the teacher also told me the same thing. I guess they can really learn very fast.
