似乎菲有排都不會出院, 又冇工人用, 又要比4/5人工, 明年四月才約滿八年, 如果佢一路有sick leave, 咁就死囉, 菲又唔想返菲律賓, 請問有冇經驗可分享, 謝謝

如果佢一直冇放過病假, 咁應該累積左120日, 呢120日就係4/5, 之後就係no pay...
佢攞緊sick leave 你唔可以炒架, 不過保險應該有allowance比返你請人暫時replace佢架...你問下insurance先, 請住家務助野幫手先囉

醫生話叫反射性關折炎, 腳踵到很痛和不能行

Your insurance may provide a sum to hire a replacement worker.

You cannot fire her, but u can persuade her to quit on her own, as working may be bad for her health. But after 8 years, of couse she is waiting for the long-term service pay.

1823 Labour Dept 說120日sick pay 后可以解約, 只要保足錢和機票, 不過菲可去平等機會投訴Disability Discrimination..........

insurance 要醫生紙, 見govt hospital doc 真的很難, trying..........

This filipino prefers to stay in HK for treatment. She did not go back to Philipines for almost 10 years already

If I terminate contract with her, it means she must go home, and this is what she doesn't want.

You mean insurance can provide money even contract with this sick maid is not ended? let me ask again then.

drugs & some therapies can stop the pain & swelling of the legs within 2 weeks
but probably few months drugs-consumption is required (depend on what type of arthritis)

better to discuss with the doctor for the progress and the managment plan

your maid probably at least in the middle-age
does she want to have early retirement as this kind of condition would relapse and affect her activities and movement

一般保險都有大約每日HK$200的津貼比你請個臨時工。問保險公司雖要甚麼文件，出院前同護士講名保險公司的要求，現在Ｄ護士都合作。我個工人都入過政府醫院，文件齊全保險公司好快就回水。同時，詢問醫生佢既情況是否仍然適合做家庭傭工，如果話唔適合，叫醫生出證明，然後就即炒。如果醫生唔肯講，為有等120日再炒。

Thank you. Maid said she's feeling better now. But she lost a lot of weight and is having hair lost too. It's sad to look at her. I feel sympathy for her, but on the other hand, I need someone to take care my girl.

Can hire new maid now but what if sick maid recovers and new maid arrives. Can't afford 2 maids at the same time. And if I fire sick maid after her sick leave, worry she will complain to Equal Opportunities....

Thank you, yes, $200 hospital cash per day from the 4th day of hospitalised is better than none.

the problem in public hospital is, you can hardly meet doc and they are not willing to call you to disclose patient's details.
