My baby never likes water...he was breastfed until 1-year-old so I only started to give him water around that time. He didn't like it at all and only drinks around 10-20 ml a day! But then I learnt from a mama on BK suggesting to buy a cup with the cartoon character that my baby likes (Thomas the Train). He likes the cup and smile whenever he sees the Thomas on the cup! I was telling him "Thomas asked you to drink water wor', then he thought it's fun so he started to drink more, hahaa!
Although he still doesn't drink as much as some kids, but it's ok now at least he drinks around 100ml a day now. Sometimes I don't force him as he also drinks a lot of milk everyday.
How come your babies can boo boo well without drinking water?? My BB drinks about 2 cups of Combi cup everyday but her boo boo is hard!
Another method for you to try. I used to give her Combi cup with a straw to drink water. When she starts to feel bored, then I change to the blue cup one (I think it's higher stage). Sometimes I use an adult cup and feed her carefully. When she feels it's fun, she drinks more and she will ask for more.

agree! this method works well for my BB too, although she already drinks a lot of water using the combi cup.

she doesn't know how to open the lid, but when she feels thirsty, she wld fetch the cup on the table to me and get me open for her
my B drinks a lot of juice and water everyday. so i need to chg nappy for her at least every hour, sometimes twice/hour.
My boy doesn't like 鴨咀 either as his mouth is quite small and i think the 鴨咀 makes him uncomfortable as it's much bigger than his mouth, so I trained him to use the straw instead.
