I have some bad experience from Cable TV like to share with all of you. I used their service over 10 years and my last contract was renewed in Aug 2009 and will be expired in Aug 2011. Since I like to watch football match, especially Eng League, so I called Cable TV hotline and see how much I need to pay for subscription of the Eng League coming from Aug this year. My replied is that I need to cancel my existing contract (my existing contract monthly fee is $259) and enter a new one with monthly fee of HK$289, then for Eng League I need to further pay $50 per month, i.e. $339 in total. My doubt is why i need to terminate my existing contract first and then re-enter into a new contract with higher monthly fee. Their sale also said if I don't want to enter a new contract, I cannot watch Eng League in the coming Aug.. so frustrated and disappointed on Cable TV!
